Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.
Patel Engineering's Managing Director Kavita Shirvaikar said, "Our focus remains on delivering long-term value for our stakeholders while continuously enhancing operational efficiency and output."

Gensol Engineering on Wednesday said the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) disposed of its appeal but allowed the company to file its response on Sebi's interim order to bar the firm and its promoters from the securities market.
Last month, in an interim order, Sebi barred Gensol Engineering and promoters -- Anmol Singh Jaggi and Puneet Singh Jaggi -- from the securities markets till further orders in a fund diversion and governance lapses case.
In a regulatory filing, the company said the appeal filed by it before the SAT has been disposed of, granting it an opportunity to file its response to Sebi's interim order within two weeks.
It further informed that the markets regulator has given directions to hear the company within two weeks thereafter and pass an appropriate order within four weeks.
The tribunal has given no observations on Sebi's interim order, it stated.

Metal products maker KRN Heat Exchangers has reported a 23 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 15 crore for the March quarter, driven by higher revenues.
It had posted a net profit of Rs 12 crore in the January-March period of 2023-24, the company said in an exchange filing.
Its total income in the quarter increased 62 per cent to Rs 136 crore from Rs 84 crore in the year-ago period.
For the entire FY25, the income rose 40 per cent to Rs 441.71 crore from Rs 313.74 crore in FY24.
The domestic revenue stood at Rs 362.40 cr, reflecting a 38 per cent year-on-year rise.
The overseas revenue surged 49 per cent to Rs 67.45 crore, with major contributions from the UAE and Canada.
Its CMD Santosh Kumar said, "We maintained capacity utilisation above 90 per cent, reflecting healthy demand and efficient execution. During the year, we operationalised our bar-plate facility and launched a dedicated R&D arm to drive innovation".
